The Posted Studio

How to create a safe post mockup

Adjust text, media, timestamps, and engagement, then export a high-resolution preview without presenting it as a real post.

1. Choose a legitimate use

Use mockups for pre-publish review, production props, presentations, and interface QA. For evidence or reporting, use an official embed and a real post URL instead.

2. Enter identity and text

Set the display name, handle, and body. A standard post is generally limited to 280 characters; The Posted Studio allows up to 25,000 for long-post layout testing. The Posted Studio warns before export when the content and scale exceed the device image limit; shorten the post or lower the scale. Get permission before using a real person's identity.

3. Add media and context

Use up to four media items. Polls allow two to four choices and cannot be combined with media. Add quotes, links, AI labels, and note-style context only when the production needs them.

4. Review and export

Choose iOS screen or post-only, Light, Dim, or Lights Out, a preview locale, and 1× to 3× PNG output. Review the rendered content before saving the image.
